Swim Venue: Chinese Swimming Club, Tanjung Bungah, Penang
Bike/Run Venue: Straits Quay, Penang
Triathlon Distance: 800m swim, 24km bike, 5km run
Duathlon Distance: 5km run, 24km bike, 5km run
* Swim start is seeded by time
* Bike/Run venue/distances may be altered for safety reasons.

 Entry Fee:
Early Bird (1st - 31st July) Normal (1st August - 13th October) Late Bird (14th October - 10th November)

RM50 per person
 RM60 per person RM70 per person
Individual with Event T-shirt
RM65 per person

Categories (triathlon and duathlon):
Men Open 18 - 39 years
Men Veteran 40 years and above

** Categories will be cancelled if less than 10 participants register

Prizes:
Finisher's Medal are awarded to all finishers.
Top 5 cash prizes for each category.

1st: RM100
2nd: RM90
3rd: RM80
4th: RM70
5th: RM60

* The cut-off time is 3 hours after the start of your wave.

    Hi, I got some question...
    1. Is the swimming event done in the normal pool? 50m length? How many participant in a single wave?
    2. What type of bike can be use? Any?

    Hi Samsul,

    The swimming is done in a normal 50m Olympic sized pool. Total number of participants is 150, seeded by time and set off every 15 secs fastest to slowest.

    Any sort of bike can be used as long as it is not electric bike. If you plan to use fixie bike, please make sure you have brakes.

      Thanks for your support! You can use any stroke in the swim. You don't necessarily have to swim freestyle.

      Dear CP,

      We are only accepting manual registrations for triathlon at the moment as the numbers registered are too overwhelming thus we had to suspend our online registration. You can email me at chinchin.tan@revel.asia for manual registrations.

      The cutoff time is 3 hours after the start of your swim. The swim is wave start, seeded by your 800m swim time. Fastest swimmer to slowest swimmer.

      Leo Loo, I am so sorry. The way the event is managed is to set off triathletes by 800m swim time. Unless you swim the exact same time as your friend, then you will not be able to just take his or her spot.
